My Story
It all started around 2016, when I graduated college with an undergraduate degree in accounting. Upon graduation, I believed my degree would solve a lot of my financial hardship. Well, I was wrong. Even before today's inflationary times, I found it difficult to provide for myself (apartment, car, utilities, phone, etc.) on an entry-level salary. I knew I needed a side income if I ever aspired to have financial freedom. After a few months of looking around, I found day trading. Seemed easy enough. At least on the surface. And I thought my accounting background would help, so I dove in. I started watching the typical YouTube 'gurus' at the time. Picking up on bits of information here and there, taking notes, and not really knowing that these people have no idea what they're talking about. They're just salesman trying to sell you a course. Alas, the first couple years were rough and so I decided to get my Certified Public Accounting license. My thought process was the two-fold. On one hand, I thought it would only enhance my understanding of financing/accounting and lead to more market success in trading, and on the other hand I expected the credentials would come with a raise at work and at least give me some breathing room. Well, the latter was correct. Unfortunately, it didn't lead to any trading success. At this point, I'm dumbfounded. I have all this knowledge, yet no results. What am I missing? Then it hit me...data, analytics, and statistical analysis. Who gets into business without this? And off I went, collecting and analyzing data, developing a strategy, and watching as my trading account and my results got better and better. To learn more about my strategy, click below!
